2008 TENNIS CALENDAR

Clinics for Adults - May 8 thru June 12

Mike Gillespie will be offering Thursday-evening and early Saturday-morning clinics for beginners and intermediates. Clinics will cover stroke production, footwork, net play, strategy and competitive situational games.

• Thursdays-5:30 - 7:00 p.m. (Intermediate-Advanced) Cost: $200 per player
• Saturdays- 7:00 - 8:00 a.m. (Intermediate) Cost: $135 per player

Team Competition

• Women's MITL League: "A", "B" and "C" teams play four doubles matches. Prior competitive play determines the captain's participants. See the practice schedule below.
• Men's Summer League: Tuesday evenings starting June 3 at seven area clubs. Contact Les Corwin or Mike Gillespie if you're interested in playing.

• Mondays, April 29 to July 1, 9:00-11:00 — Women's "A" and "C" Team Practice
• Tuesdays and Fridays, April 30 to July 1, 9:00 a.m.-noon — Women's "B" Team Practice
• Tuesdays, April 30 to July 5, 9:00 a.m.-noon — Women's "A" and "C" Team Matches
• Wednesdays, May 7 to June 25, 9:30 a.m.-noon — Women's "B" Team Matches
• Mondays, June 17 to August 5, 9:30 a.m.-noon — Inter-Club Matches

Tennis Social Events

Open Tennis — May 10, May 17 and May 24 (Saturdays) at 4:00 p.m.
