2009 Summer Junior Tennis Clinics Monday, June 22 - Friday, August 7

PRTC Camp Staff

Mike Gillespie will be returning for his 14th year. Mike is a PTR-Certified Level P1 pro and trained under Hank Irvine, former world-ranked Rhodesian Davis Cup player. He played #1 Singles and #1 Doubles for American University, captained the tennis team and was the ECAC Singles Champion.

Candice Hutchinson will be returning for her 13th year. Candice was State Champion while at Greenwich High School. She played #3 Singles and #1 Doubles for Fairfield University. She is also a 4-time MAAC Singles and Doubles Champion.

Vicki Muller will be returning for her 7th year. She is a PTR-Certified Level P1 pro who was trained in Johannesburg and a former 3rd-ranked junior in South Africa. Vicki was a two-time Namibian (formerly SW Africa) National Champion and represented South Africa versus Mozambique.

Tennis Camp — Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday

• "Future Stars" (ages 4-7) — 3:15-4:00 ($65/week members, $75/week non-members)
• "Intermediates" — 3:15 - 4:15 ($85/week members, $95/week non-members)
• Discount available for committing to all seven weeks

Junior Team Play — Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday

Junior Team clinic will be held on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 4:15 - 5:30. The clinic consists of drilling, strategy sessions, and supervised challenge matches. These determine who will represent PRTC in the Interclub play. Interclub matches are held on Thursday afternoons at 1:00. The team roster consists of boys and girls in age categories of 17&U, 14&U, 12&U and 10&U. Mike Gillespie, Candice Hutchinson and Vicki Muller will instruct the Junior Team.Fees are for one 7-week session and cannot be prorated.Team players will receive a PRTC team shirt. (Please indicate youth or adult size.) Parents are asked to drive to away matches on a rotating basis.

Fees are $300 for members and $400 for non-members.

Non-member team players can use the courts at other times but cannot bring guests, reserve court time or bump adult players
